ABOUT

Timothy Underwood writes quirky and unique Pride and Prejudice Variations filled with witty banter. His books provide a mix of tears and laughs, and they usually have a medium angst level. All of his Elizabeth and Darcy stories are closed door romances, but there is swearing when the author believes it is period appropriate, passionate make out sessions, and feelings that proper young misses do not quite understand. All of this means that his books shouldn't be considered 'clean' or 'sweet'.

The reason to read a Pride and Prejudice variation is because you want to see the same characters, locations, and situations twisted in all sorts of romantic, compelling, and interesting ways. There are so many different ways the characters can find their way to their happily ever after.

"Sometimes I find Darcy's character in Mr. Underwood's books infuriating; I guess it is because, as a man, the author is more versed in men's psychology, and therefore his descriptions are more to the point. This is why I keep going back to his books."

  • Goodreads Reviewer

"This author chooses some heavy topics to write about, and he does it so well. He combines strong emotions with great dialogue and exciting scenarios to create a story that's truly worth the time it takes to read it."

  • Goodreads Reviewer

"I can't express how much I enjoy reading the main characters converse with one another. Dialogue is a beautiful thing, and being able to go along for the ride as Darcy and Elizabeth navigate, and build on their relationship is a plus."
